Since 1961, Sel Sanayi is producing glue of animal-origin and technical gelatin from cattle hides in its Balıkesir, Gönen factory. Today, Sel Sanayi is Europe's largest techical gelatin producer.

Glue of animal origin and technical gelatin are made of collagens from hides, making these 100% organic, thus nature-friendly products.

Almost 90% of the production is being exported to several countries in the world. The main reason Sel is preffered globally comes from its outmost care shown for premium quality and customer satisfaction. The company is capable of manufacturing products designed to its clients' specific technical criterias and strictly controlling each production phase by its experienced personnel.

The main application areas of techical gelatin are for printing machines, paper and carton, tobacco, wooden furniture , match making, graphic arts and bookbinding industries as well as label, game board and puzzle production.

In addition to its production activities, Sel Sanayi is the distributor of Rousselot SA, the world's largest edible gelatin manufacturer since 2001. An essential ingredient in confectionery and dairy products, edible gelatin is supplied by SEL to sevaral different producers.
